Write a single blog post from your point of view as an attendee. Include quotes, things you learned, and what you found interesting.

Photographers

Take photos of speakers as they're speaking. We'd like them to each have a nice photo to use professionally.

Sketchnoters

Summarize important points and quotes from our speakers, whether you draw, paint, or create digital visual notes.

 

 Honorarium & Credit

 

Individuals will be gifted an honorarium upon delivery and AlterConf agrees not to post any material until freelancers verify that honorarium has been received.

Work will be added to the AlterConf site alongside the name, short bio, photo, and a link to the person who created it.

Freelancers retain licenses for all of their work.

 Requirements

 
  • be a marginalized person in the tech or gaming industry
  • be able to attend for the full length of the conference
  • be from the conference's surrounding area
  • be able to complete work and turn it in one week after the conference
  • enjoy blogging, photography, or sketchnoting as a hobby or profession (but no professional experience is required!)
  • have a ticket for the conference
