Born and raised in New York, Nick moved to Georgia at the age of 13. He was co-founder of Club Logic, a computer club for South Gwinnett High School students interested in technology. He attended Georgia Gwinnett College in 09 majoring in I.T. Systems and Security. In 2012 he founded an I.T. management company by the name of Americas IT Doctors. In 2013 he started working for the City of Sandy Springs' I.T. Department. As a goal driven and determined individual who is eager to keep climbing the ladder of success. He made the decision to leave the City of Sandy Springs in 2014 to continue paving the way for Americas IT Doctors. As of 2015, his company manages dozens of computer systems and networks for real estate agents, law firms, restaurants, and accounting firms. He enjoys giving back to the community by teaching kids the fundamentals of entrepreneurship at the Biz4Youth summer camp. Today he is currently working on his new book "The 5 Layers of Scum" and strives to be the new face of a younger generation in I.T.
My talk will be on, being the face of an emerging technology company. Including topics such as, obstacles associated with being a young African American business owner, overcoming age discrimination found in the business community and breaking those barriers on a day to day basis. All as a way to pave a way for other young entrepreneurs, allowing them a better chance at success.
