To become a more diverse industry, we'll need to do more than just get different faces into our field. Rather, we will need to make changes to our entire industry culture -- how we educate and hire people, how we conceptualize expertise, and how we work. In this talk, I'll try to paint a picture of what those changes might look and feel like in practice, drawing parallels from other fields that have successfully become more diverse, and I'll sketch out paths and timelines to implement those changes.
